Paddington Bearô brings colouring fun and creative activities direct to HP printers

One of the world's best known bears is set to star in a collection of downloadable colouring and activity sheets this Spring thanks to a new collaboration between Paddington Bear and HP.

Starting in late April, consumers in 23 English speaking territories will be able to download the sheets free of charge through HP’s web destination for printing, the HP ePrintCenter. The sheets will also be available as a print app on most HP web-connected printers.

This exciting service will provide six new Paddington™ colouring and activity sheets each week which can be delivered on-demand or on a scheduled basis to HP web-connected printers.

Nicholas Durbridge, Chairman of The Copyrights Group Limited, worldwide licensing agents for Paddington Bear, said, "We are thrilled to be partnering with HP to offer Paddington activity sheets to fans everywhere.

"This is an exciting time for Paddington as momentum builds ahead of his movie debut in 2014 and we are looking forward to further exciting announcements in the near future," he added.

The license with HP was negotiated by Lindberg Marketing + Media on behalf of The Copyrights Group.

Notes to Editors:

For 55 years, British-born writer Michael Bond has been entertaining children all over the world with his stories of Paddington Bear, the marmalade-loving, duffle-coat-wearing, Wellington-booted bear from Darkest Peru.

Since the first book, A Bear Called Paddington, was published by HarperCollins in 1958, a further 13 full-length novels and countless other formats have been published. Paddington’s adventures have been adapted several times for the small screen, most notably by Michael Bond himself, in collaboration with Ivor Wood and FilmFair, for the BBC and HBO in the 1970s and 80s.

The brand’s longevity and the character’s extraordinary appeal are felt by boys, girls, mums, dads and grandparents everywhere. Today, with over 70 titles available in 40 languages and more than 100 countries, book sales are in excess of 35 million.
