Introduction

 

Nel is one of the UK’s leading contemporary artists and designers. Her strong and vibrantly coloured original artwork, covering a wide range of subject matter from landscapes and flower paintings to abstract compositions, has attracted a loyal and popular following.

 

After finishing her arts training in Leeds, Nel was awarded a grant from the Princes Youth Business Trust and became a professional artist in 1986, since when her work has been exhibited in major cities across the UK.

Nel’s work is probably best known to a global audience through her original paintings, limited edition prints, posters and greeting cards, and in the USA her striking and colourful paper product ranges and hugely successful dinnerware collections have further enhanced her licensing profile and potential.

 

Nel’s partnership with Copyrights sees her fresh and dynamic artwork developed for a programme of stationery and homeware and lifestyle lines ranging from paper tableware through to calendars, candles, kitchen textiles, luggage and outdoor dining accessories.
